It's a great time to start a side hustle, launch a business idea, or go out on your own as a fractional consultant or coach. You're an expert at what you do, but the business and marketing side? Probably not the reason you get up in the morning...
We're going to let you in on a secret: the entrepreneurs you admire have support teams. Not big ones either: fractional operations, a designer and/or a virtual assistant (VA) can go a long way. And that clean, user-friendly website with the handy booking calendar and perfect forms? That's what we do.
What Journey Are You On?

Sarah M. Schumacher
Founder / Creative Strategist
Sarah Schumacher is the design and technical sounding board to guide you through all things websites.
She founded cyclone press as a branding agency in 2009, then added web design and development after requests from clients who were frustrated with bad websites and unreliable providers. As of August 1, 2025, we rebranded to Tiny Thunder Studio to better communicate our sweet spot: serving other service providers as the technical partner they need.
Sarah has nearly 20 years of expertise in brand design, website design/development and hosting, process design and automation, tech coaching, and business analysis. Her speciality is in designing tech solutions for practical problems.
A serial entrepreneur and artist, Sarah writes Experimental Pixels, a biweekly newsletter on the intersection of art and entrepreneurship, and designed, produces and cohosts the Founder Problems Podcast. She particularly enjoys helping other multi-passionate people use entrepreneurship as a vehicle for a fulfilling (outside the box) career.
We exist to make websites as simple and streamlined as possible for consultants and service-based small businesses. We're a small team who loves getting to know our clients. Sarah personally oversees every project, and would love to help you with yours.
Recent Projects
Check out a few highlights below, or view our projects page for more examples of our work.
A static website for a startup.
Sometimes all you need is a landing page while you validate or work on an idea. For that we have static website packages. If you need the works – the Startup Package.
A consultant ready for a redesign.
If your current website isn't cutting it, we'd love to help. A website should breathe new life into your business, not feel like a chore.
A content-heavy website for a business focused law firm.
Your website should have the proper structure and hierarchy for SEO, but it should also look good and function well for your visitors.
Testimonials
Behold, Our Kind + Talented Clients

I had an all around amazing experience with Sarah and TTS. She made it important to understand my business and the image I wanted to create. She also offered bits of advice along the way, to make sure I had addressed all the steps necessary when starting a business.

Tiny Thunder Studio is that prototype partner that entrepreneurs need. Dynamic, focused, and committed, Sarah, and her team, help businesses get better, while they get bigger. Simply put, TTS is the rare partner that supports you as you work on the business, instead of spending your valuable time working in the business.

I have worked with Tiny Thunder Studio to redesign my website and I’m so impressed with their knowledge of both the technical and aesthetic aspects of website design, their attention to detail, clear and prompt communication, and their very efficient work process. Sarah and her team helped me realize the vision I had for my website redesign and they made the process enjoyable and efficient.
I always received prompt responses to any questions I had and additionally, I learned a few things along the way! I appreciate how Sarah always takes the time to explain the technology side of things so that I can better understand what’s needed to create a high functioning website.
So if you are looking to create a new website or redesign and existing one, or need help with the digital presence of your business, I highly recommend you contact Tiny Thunder Studio."

What are you waiting for?
We're about partnership; not pressure. Every project begins with a conversation, and even if we're not the right fit, we hope the call will give you clarity on how to move forward. Schedule a discovery call with Sarah and let's talk.

Before working with Sarah, my website felt like a liability. I had strong offers, clear expertise, & traction, but none of that was showing up online. The site was scattered, unfinished, & felt like a placeholder for “someday when I have time.”
Sarah shifted that entirely. From day one, she brought structure, calm, & clarity to a process I’d been avoiding for months. She didn’t just design a site, but she also helped architect a brand identity, content strategy, & functional system that reflected the actual depth of my work. No dumbing down or overdesigning, but intentional decisions, sharp thinking, & a deep respect for how I operate.
What stood out most was her ability to hold complexity without creating chaos. My body of work spans audiences, offers, & engagement lanes. I care about both strategy & aesthetics. I wanted something that felt clear without losing nuance or my character. Sarah met me in that tension—and delivered. She never defaulted to design tropes, and she honored my admiration for design and desire to serve serious clients. She helped me show up online in a way that was sharp, professional, & still deeply Sadie.
If you’re a strategist, operator, or coach/consultant whose online presence is lagging behind your real work, hire Sarah & her team. She brings the rare combo of design skill, systems thinking, & sharp collaboration that makes things happen. The confidence I have since before our partnership is night & day.
